Composition:
Each 5 ml Care-Zn Oral Suspension contains: Zinc Gluconate equivalent to 20 mg elemental Zinc.
Indications:
Care-Zn is used to improve appetite, weight gain, resistance to infection, and other clinical manifestations of zinc deficiency. It is also used to treat diarrhea.
Dosage & Administration:
Treatment of zinc deficiency:
Adults: 50 to 150 mg per day in one dose, or in divided doses.
Infants, Children, and Adolescents: 0.5 to 1 mg /kg/day one dose, or in divided doses.
Patients with diarrhea:
For Infants 2-6 months: 2.5 ml/day, for 14 days.
For Children 6 months -5 years: 5 ml/day, for 14 days.
Packaging:
Each carton box contains amber glass bottle of 100 ml.
